A Single Gal Intervention

Being a girl, and being single are two things that never seem to mesh well together. Another couple that isn't beautifully put together is... being in college... and being single. Two things where the wretched word 'single' ruins the whole pair. It can be SO discouraging! Gals... as hard as it can be to be positive about this 'single' title many of us carry around with us, we can't let it control our lives. When you let a small aspect of your life control everything about you (ie.. thoughts, emotions, life ambitions, and others..) you begin to pull yourself down little by little. Believe me you... I've been there, MANY times, and it is not worth it!! Love is a good thing, and yes it should be sought after, but heavens to Bets, it should not be our ambition in our day to day life. The Fellas in life are great, and I love the Fellas, but sometimes(mostly always) the Fellas can drag you down. Unfortunately, the Fellas don't have a clue of their affect on us. Should we not find the positive in the tag title of 'Single'? Shall we become the comfortable confident 'Single Gals' we all have the potential to be? Instead of relying on the great desire to find a lover, now is the time to become the best you and thoroughly love and live life! We Gals are in the prime of our lives to enjoy the little things, discover our strengths and weaknesses, laugh till we cry, do the impossible, illuminate our dreams, focus on the important aspects of life, and become the best we possibly can be. Your Prince Fella will come. It's not the matter of 'if' he will come its more of the the 'when'. I believe we all have a Prince Fella out there, and that Prince Fella is worth waiting for. But I know for a fact that, Prince Fella isn't going to have his eyes peeled for the 'Single Girls Who are Real Pathetic and Are ALWAYS On the Hunt'. Don't let the 'when' aspect of the Prince Fella intimidate you and discourage you, this should be refreshing and empowering. The time we have in the 'when' is amazing, think of who you could become and where you could be that day when 'when' comes around. I assume that the Prince Fellas out there are attracted to those confident, doing something with their lives, not focused on 'the hunt', living and loving their life as a classy kind of person I'd like to call, the Single gal.
